What We Do

• Climate-Smart Agriculture: Farmers are trained in resilient farming techniques, including crop diversification, water-efficient practices, and soil restoration, enabling them to adapt to climate variability.
• Renewable Energy-Powered Irrigation: Innovative irrigation systems powered by solar and other renewable energy sources ensure reliable crop production even during dry periods.
• Skills Training for Refugees and IDPs: Participants gain practical skills in agriculture and vocational trades, creating sustainable livelihoods and economic independence.
• Sustainable Livelihoods: By integrating farming with small-scale business opportunities, families can earn income, improve nutrition, and reduce dependency on aid.

Our Impact & Stories

The project has strengthened the capacity of hundreds of farmers, refugees, and IDPs, increasing crop production and food security while promoting climate resilience and sustainable livelihoods. By combining renewable energy, vocational training, and climate-smart agriculture, the BetterLife Spring Project is creating lasting change, independence, and hope in communities facing extreme challenges.

“Before this project, I struggled to grow enough food during dry spells. With the renewable-powered irrigation system and climate-smart techniques, my crops thrive, and I can provide for my family. I now feel confident to plan for the future and share my knowledge with my community.”
